Taupō Marathon Corporate Challenge

Bring your team together for an epic weekend of movement, motivation, and friendly competition at the Speight’s Taupō Marathon! Whether you’re a small office crew or a large company, this is your chance to challenge yourselves, support each other, and experience Taupō in a unique way.

    • Nominate a Team Captain

      Your team captain will be responsible for registering your team and requesting the discount code. Email tauporego@totalsport.co.nz to get started.

    • Enter Your Team

      Once the team is set up, each team member uses the shared team name and password to enter their chosen distance — Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km or Kids Dash (Employees and direct Family members of Employees are welcome).

    • Go the Distance

      Form a team with your colleagues – all fitness levels welcome. On event day, we’ll total up the distance completed by each team member.

    • 🏆 The corporate team with the highest combined kilometres wins!

Corporate Challenge Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility:
    The Corporate Challenge is open to registered businesses or organisations only.

  2. Team Registration:
    A nominated Team Captain must register the team name and request a discount code via tauporego@totalsport.co.nz. All team members must use this team name and password when entering to be counted towards the team’s total.

  3. Scoring:
    The winning team will be determined by the highest combined kilometres completed by team members on event day, Saturday 2 August 2025. Only officially timed finishers will count toward the total.

  4. Eligible distances include:

    The Marathon (42.2km), Half Marathon (21.1km), 10km, 5km, and the Kids Dash — every kilometre counts!

    Participants must be employees and immediate family members only.

  5. Prizes:
    The prize includes:

    • A office morning tea shout to the value of $300.

    • A custom Corporate Challenge Trophy.

    • Recognition across Total Sport’s social media channels and email newsletter.

  6. Participation Requirements:
    All participants must be officially registered and complete their chosen distance. Substitutions or unregistered team members will not be counted.

  7. Tie-Breaker:
    In the event of a tie in total kilometres, the team with the most participants will be declared the winner. If still tied, the prize may be split or a winner drawn at random.

  8. Total Sport NZ Reserves the Right:
    To verify all entries, disqualify teams for misconduct or rule breaches, and amend or cancel the competition at its discretion.
